Something's off? Pull up a chair.
Doughgether is a small team, and a real person reads every message. Write to allthingsnewhi@gmail.com and we'll answer within two business days — usually sooner, unless we're mid-bake.
When you write, it helps to include: what you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead, and (if you're comfortable) a screenshot. Your iPhone model and iOS version help too.
Quick answers
How do I delete my account? In the app: Avatar → Settings → Delete account. It removes your kitchen, posts, Doctor reads, and files — permanently — and you'll see a confirmation when it's done. If you'd rather we do it, email us from the address on your account.
Can I get a copy of my kitchen? Yes. Email us and we'll send your starters, feeding history, journal, and bakes in a readable format.
Why can't I see my old journal entries? The journal keeps the last 30 days in view for everyone. Longer memory is part of the Crust Club, which is free for founding members. If you're a founding member and can't see past 30 days, that's a bug — tell us.
I only get one free Crumb Doctor read? Everyone gets one full read, free, forever. After that, the score is always free; the full read — what to change and why — is a Club feature. Founding members have it already.
The Doctor got my loaf wrong. It happens. It's reading a photo, and light, angle, and a phone camera all get in the way. Retake in daylight, straight on, slice facing the lens. If it invents a historical fact or cites something that doesn't exist, report it in the app — that's a rule it's not allowed to break.
My starter has mold / pink or orange streaks. Throw the whole culture out, jar and all, and start again. No app can tell you otherwise, and neither will we. Everything else — hooch, sour smell, a grey top layer — is usually fine; the Learn tab covers it.
How do I report a post or block someone? Tap the three dots on any post or profile. Reports go to a person, not an algorithm. Blocking hides them from you and you from them.
Someone sent me a link and it didn't open the app. Install Doughgether from the App Store first, then tap the link again. If it still lands on the website instead of the post, email us the link.
Notifications aren't firing. Timers and reminders are scheduled on your phone, so check iOS Settings → Doughgether → Notifications and make sure Focus modes aren't silencing us. If they're on and still quiet, that's ours to fix.
Voice journal didn't transcribe. Transcription runs on your phone first. If your device can't, it falls back to the cloud, which needs a connection. Polish (the clean-up step) is separate and off by default — turn it on in the composer if you want it.
I'm on TestFlight. Where do I send feedback? Right here, or through TestFlight's built-in feedback (take a screenshot and tap Share Beta Feedback). Both reach us. Thank you — beta bakers are the reason this thing rises.

Safety
If you ever see something on the Table that worries you — someone in danger, a child where they shouldn't be, a threat — report it in the app and email allthingsnewhi@gmail.com so it jumps the queue.
